Rio, by his own, admission, ignored the FedEx package from the class and went to a movie. When he did finally open the package he ignored the list of several ex classmembers and instead told his boss and had his boss drive him to the mansion. Even though RKK had been trying to contact him and even though it was a full day after receiving the package Rio thought that the best idea was to call 911 TWICE instead of informing anyone else on the list who also had a document describing the location of the Rancho Santa Fe property. Rather than think about any of the ex classmembers Rio put RKK and OSC in danger by alerting the authorities without telling anyone else what he was doing. After all, he was the ‘sole surviving member’ and he was ‘still in the class’ so he didn’t have to answer to anyone or think of anyone but himself. It’s cute how he pretends like everything that he has ever done was for them when in fact it was all to serve himself so he could masquerade as a new age guru.
Rio’s book is toilet paper compared to the class’ book. Funny that he promoted his book far more than the class’ book. In fact, Rio’s entire affair with the media was nothing but self-promotion by exploiting the fact that he was the last one to leave. Even though he wouldn’t admit that he left because he was so special and chosen. Except for when Rio tried to tell RKK and I that,
‘I am the last one to leave the class and that is all I have ever claimed to be’.
He must have thought we were pretty dumb if he was going to try to put that blatant deception by us. He was quoted many, many times saying that he was the ‘sole surviving member’.
Without Rio’s two 911 calls the storage lockers could have been emptied before anyone even knew that the class had used the facility. But it was more important to Rio that he begin the narrative that he was the ‘sole surviving member’ who was ‘left behind to find the bodies’. RKK and OSC were the only ones who actually tried to do some of the tasks that were offered to Mark and Sarah. Other than go to the house and call the authorities I don’t see anything that Rio did except hide behind Nick Matzorkis and declare himself the ‘last remaining member’. Rio did NOTHING to help distribute the class’ information as he was most interested in praising himself and his book. Still no mention to this day of the audio tapes that Mark stole from RKK and the world.
But Rio has had more important things to do, after all, he had to ‘get on’ with his ‘life and career’ because he couldn’t ‘have people looking’ at him anymore. Even though he was the one who put himself before the media and claimed that he was the special one who was ‘left behind’. But then the poor guy realized that he had to get on with his life so now he has to hide behind a cloak when he gives interviews. It must be so difficult to go from being an alleged messenger of the class to someone who has to hide because his attempt to be a guru didn’t work out for him financially.
And he still can’t admit, despite the evidence from the class, that he was just another ‘former classmember’ like everyone else. It’s the bond that he and the Kings share, they are the ‘surviving members’ and everyone else is beneath them. That’s how they have acted since the class left, haughty, arrogant and superior. Drunk on their self-righteousness, no better than all of the preachers who think that god works through them. The Kings and Rio have made statements and taken actions that indicate that they feel that they can do no wrong and they are the gatekeepers of the class and no one else.
The Kings decided, after they were too scared to even consider going to California, that the class supposedly ‘left everything’ to them so they Petitioned San Diego County and lied about what the class offered them. They were so stupid that they submitted the letters from the class as evidence and yet those very letters clearly stated that the items in the house were for the landlord ‘if the authorities allow it’. But the vainglorious Kings had to get heavy-handed along with their scumbag lawyers and claim that the class wanted them to have everything, including everything in the house. They weren’t given the masters for the Exit videos or the Beyond Human series nor were they given the Book with instructions to place it in the Library of Congress. They weren’t given the class’ last statements with instructions to upload them.
These three fools got together and told each other how great they were and how no other former class members mattered except for them because they are supposedly the ‘surviving members’. These pathetic people didn’t ‘survive’ anything. Rio chickened out a month before the class left and the Kings were kicked out in 1987. But they are so deluded with themselves that they refuse to acknowledge what anyone who was in the class knows, that they are DROPOUTS just like everyone else who ever left or was kicked out of the class.
No one here is special. Get over yourselves Rio and Mark and Sarah. The only thing that you’re good at is lying and you’re really not even that good at that.

rio to me sounds like Cypher from the first matrix movie where he betrayed the whole unit by wanting out making an arrangement with agents and executing his plan. Not to mention when he was in the class his name was Neody sad to say but it doesnt seem like he was the “one” like he could have been.
